“I had the good fortune to have a few sessions of Reiki with Carolina. I was quite skeptical at first but I figured why not give it a shot. I had heard of Reiki before but knew very little about it. Carolina’s demeanor is very calming. She communicates very well as she steps you through the session. Each of my sessions were unique in what I experienced. Some were surprisingly emotional, others were incredibly calming. After each session I felt incredibly calm and cleansed of negative emotions, chronic pain had faded away. There were moments that were spiritually powerful. Carolina is truly gifted, deeply spiritual and her Reiki abilities are almost supernatural. She converted a skeptic. “From the moment I stepped into AKHILA OM, I knew it was going to be a calming holistic experience. It touched my senses of sight, sound, touch and smell. I loved the sight of the bay from the studio and the colors of the sunset beautifully illuminated the studio. We started with a Sound Healing session and Carolina played multiple tones on different types of bowls that permeated all the way onto the cells of my body! It was amazingly relaxing. Carolina is a gifted and knowledgeably yoga teacher. She helped me focus on a few areas that were pain points (hip and upper back) and by the end of our class, they were totally gone. She was responsive to making adjustments to me and made light of the practice which helped me laugh through the seriousness of me trying the postures. I also loved the essential oil blend she dabbed on my forehead towards the end of the session. It made me feel balanced and restored! Carolina is kind, gentle, and a beautiful soul who is committed to the practice and teaching of yoga.
